Derek is Vice President of Advertising Sales and Service for Intent Media. In this role, Derek is charged with leading the team responsible for the success of the world’s largest travel advertisers – including travel suppliers, online travel agencies and metasearch sites – with Intent Media’s advertising products. Prior to Intent Media, Derek spent five years at Google, most recently as Head of Agency Relations for Omnicom and Publicis. He entered the online media space in 1999 as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at SmartBrief, a B2B e-newsletter publisher. Derek began his career at The Advisory Board Company and earned his BA from Williams College.
